I was the deputy editor of one of Australia’s most iconic women’s magazines, CLEO for five years. In that time I worked on its flagship event CLEO Bachelor of the Year and industry firsts such as a designer collaboration series with Alice McCall, Tigerlily and Bec and Bridge.
Working on such a title afforded me the opportunity to write across numerous topics including fashion, beauty, pop culture, entertainment, relationships, health and careers. The beauty of CLEO was that it was a title that spoke to women on so many levels and we were able to push the boundaries with each issue.
I wrote about everything from The rise and rise of the fashion blog, to the Eat Pray Love Effect and Why Smart is the New Sexy. Also I wrote several cover stories in my tenure including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Katy Perry and Leighton Meester.
